Exotic Fruits Projects: A Green Journey in Ninh Thuan

Have you ever wondered how a dry land like Ninh Thuan can grow high-quality fruits? This week, our founder, Ngan Nguyen, spent two days in Ninh Thuan, to check on our exotic fruits projects in Vietnam. 

Working alongside our partner Truecoop Cooperative, we spent hours interviewing farmer members and monitoring the growth of new plots.  It is happy to see our shared vision for organic agriculture taking shape!

Update from farm: Exotic Fruits on the way!

Our project starts in Ma Noi, a commune in Ninh Son district, where economic conditions have traditionally been difficult. This is a key starting point for our mission to build a biodiversity-rich area.

Since 2024, the landscape has changed beautifully. What started as newly planted rows has now grown into a vibrant carpet of organic crops. This year, we expect our very first pineapple harvest.

Our organic agroforestry model is built to be a resilient ecosystem. Currently, we see Pineapple growing alongside Pink Guava, while Mango is intercropped with Cashew. We are also adding timber trees and nuts to create a complete organic forest.

By choosing sustainable organic methods, we protect the surrounding environment and the health of the community. We are excited to see the farm becoming more vibrant and alive every day!

New Opportunities for Exotic Fruits

This project opens the door for Vietnamese Fruit. We can develop a wide range of products, including fresh fruit, dried snacks, and juices.

Our goal is to offer more than just raw ingredients. We are currently under development for organic fruit jams. These products will bring even more growth to our local community in Ninh Thuan.

A small volume of pineapple is starting in Q2/Q3. So stay tuned!

Why Exotic Fruits matter

In the past, farmers in Ma Noi relied almost entirely on cashew crops. By introducing this intercropping model, we provide organic seedlings, technical training, and a commitment to buy final products. This stable link helps local farmers improve their daily lives and look toward a future where they can escape poverty sustainably.

We believe that by focusing on quality and fair partnerships, we can bring the best of Vietnam’s exotic fruits to the global market.
