FARM STORY
From Northeast Highlands
Our Organic Cinnamon is grown in the remote highlands of Northeast Vietnam. Located far from industrial zones, the trees grow in an environment that ensures high purity and safety from chemical pollutants.
On the steep slopes of the mountains, the cinnamon forest acts as a natural shield, holding the soil together and preventing erosion. It has become an integral part of the lives of the local people.
The Hands Behind
Our Organic Cinnamon is grown under smallholder organic farming by 6 ethnic groups - Tay, Nung, Mong, Dao, Kinh, Hoa.
The local farmers are very experienced and creative in farming. They intercrop cinnamon with ferns, which help absorb heavy metals from the soil, contributing to the pure organic quality of our cinnamon.
Every year during harvest season, farmers follow a selective harvesting method. Every strip of bark is peeled by hand and sun-dried in the mountain air. This patient, manual process is how they keep the natural oils intact, ensuring a long-term balance between their harvest and the forest’s health.
