FARM STORY
Nurtured by Limestone Valleys
Our black sesame seeds are cultivated in limestone valleys across North Central Vietnam, spanning over 120 hectares of flat arable land. Surrounded by dense natural forests and towering karst mountains, the fields are completely isolated from industrial zones and environmental pollutants.
Every year, the soil is enriched with abundant nutrients derived from limestone minerals and organic humus from nearby forest. This gives the seeds their distinctive rich, nutty, sweet flavor.
Organic Farming Practices
Local farmers uses river and stream water for daily life and farming. Therefore, they do not use chemical fertilizers or pesticides. Instead, they use well-rotted manure (animal manure, stream fish, banana peels, and biological preparations...) to create a source of organic nutrients for crops.
Farmers also practice crop rotation - alternating sesame and legumes with traditional local crops such as rice and pumpkin. It’s a way to naturally enrich the soil and maintain ecological balance.
