THE ORIGIN
Our organic sugarcane is grown on virgin lands, where fertile soil and natural rainfall nurture the crop.
- Warm temperatures (average 28°C), plenty of sunlight, and ideal rainfall are essential for sugarcane growth.
- The golden dry season: the weather is completely dry and full of sunshine, helping the plants accumulate maximum sugar content.
Under “perfect” natural conditions, organic sugarcane grows healthily and yields the highest productivity and sugar content.
FARMER STORY
Behind every batch is the hard work of over 3,000 smallholder farmers.
They have over 15 years of experience in sugarcane cultivation. Sugarcane provides a very good livelihood for farmers after they finish their rice crop.
Previously, they had a lot of free time after rice farming and often had to work elsewhere to make ends meet. But now, some families have stayed in their hometowns to grow sugarcane, making the most of their time and labor to increase their income.
Sustainability Model
In our value chain, 75% of the sugarcane is sourced through a dedicated collaboration program. By working under long-term purchase contracts, these farmers no longer face the uncertainty of market fluctuations.
The sustainability is built on direct support to the farming community. Farmers receive funding for irrigation ponds and agricultural machinery to improve productivity. They share knowledge, farming techniques, and market insights with the purpose.
