What is "Organic Conversion" Project?

The process of converting a conventional farm to a certified organic farm is a journey that takes 2 to 3 years.

During this period, farmers have completely eliminated chemical pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, and GMOs. They strictly adhere to EU Organic standards.

However, because they are still in the
transition phase, their produce cannot carry the certified organic label yet.

Viet Haus brings this project to solve two key challenges:

  • For Buyers

    Access high-quality, natural products compliant with EU standards at more affordable and economical prices.

  • For Farmers

    Provide steady financial support and encouragement to local farming communities as they adopt sustainable, organic farming practices.

1. Ginger

Profile: A robust local ginger variety known for its big size, bold spiciness and aroma.

Processing: Frozen, Slices, Cut, Powder.

Quality: Compliant to EU Organic standard.

Applications: Ideal for cooking, herbal tea infusions, sauces, and commercial food prep.

2. Chili

Profile: Two chili varieties: Medium Heat Chili (50,000 - 70,000 SHU) and Bird's Eye Chili (> 70,000 SHU)

Processing: Frozen, Whole Dried, Flakes

Quality: Compliant to EU Organic standard.

Applications: Essential spice for stir-fries, marinades, hot sauces, and daily cooking.
